RC Graphic Kit Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions for Radio Controlled Graphics Kits

Basic Tools Needed

  • 91%+ Isopropyl Alcohol
  • Clean Spray Bottle
  • Dish Detergent (3 drops per quart)
  • Lint-Free Soft Cloth
  • Felt-Tipped Squeegee
  • Heat Gun

Step 1: Cleaning and Preparation

Ensure your RC panels are completely clean and dry. Use 91% isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to sterilize the surface. Remove old graphics and any adhesive residue using mild heat and products like Goo-Gone.

Step 2: Application Preparation

Install in a heated room above 75°F. Unroll and inspect each graphic. Pre-trim and test-fit if needed. If anything is missing, contact us before peeling the liner. Hands should be sterile and oil-free.

Step 3: Application

Spray both the body and adhesive side of the graphic with soapy water. Float into place, then begin applying with heat and a felt-tipped squeegee or soft cloth. Start at the center and work out. Reheat curves if necessary to shape the vinyl properly.

Rivet Installation Notes

On 1/5 scale models, graphics may be applied over rivet depressions. Use heat and a soft cloth to conform to the area. A small X-cut can help fit around a rivet.

Cold Weather Warning

Below 50°F, vinyl may crack or fail. Use alternate bodies for cold use if possible. We are not liable for cold-related damage.

Important Disclaimers

  • Once removed from liner, graphics are not returnable.
  • Do not cover warning labels.
  • We are not responsible for improper prep or install.
ATV and Dirt Bike Graphics Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions for ATV Graphics

Basic Tools Needed

  • 98–99% Rubbing Alcohol
  • Clean Spray Bottle
  • Dish Detergent
  • Felt-Tipped Squeegee
  • Heat Gun

Step 1: Cleaning and Preparation

Clean all plastics thoroughly. Sterilize with rubbing alcohol and dry completely. Test first on an inconspicuous area. You assume all risk during surface prep.

Step 2: Application Preparation

Install in a room above 75°F. Mix soapy water and spray both surface and graphic. Unroll and inspect graphics. Familiarize yourself with placement before proceeding.

Step 3: Application

Choose a piece (e.g. rear right fender), float it into place using soapy water, and press out liquid from center outward. Use heat gun to gently warm curves and lock in shape.

Step 4: Perforated Gas Tank Graphics

Perforated graphics must be applied dry. Use sweeping motions with your finger. Holes may affect artwork appearance but are essential for vapor release. If unsure, return the product before install.

Important Notes

  • Do not use below 60°F.
  • Do not rush curing or pressurize tank areas.
  • Keep packaging away from children. Never remove safety labels.
UV Air Egress Vinyl Instructions

Special Installation for UV-Printed Air Egress Graphics

This graphic kit uses air egress film with UV-printing. This type of vinyl must be installed without water.

  • Use no water or soap — apply dry only.
  • These films allow air to escape and be repositioned immediately.
  • Be gentle when lifting vinyl; UV print can be more fragile than standard wraps.

Honey Chrome Oil Spill Confetti Install Instructions

Installation Notes for Honey-Chrome, Oil-Spill & Confetti Add-Ons

These graphics use different materials than standard vinyls and require special care:

  • Use a blow dryer (not a heat gun) with mild heat to reduce risk of edge curling.
  • Do not rush installation — cure time matters for long-term performance.
  • For chassis skins or dry installs, heat-related guidance still applies.

Follow this guide closely. Watch the QR-coded video for help. When cured, your graphics are ready for use.
